The Builder's Journey

Dec 28, 2020

Today, we're doing a roadside interview at the base of Vail Pass.  Brandon LaBlanc with Vail Transportation and Mike Wilson with Wilson Towing & Recovery help spread the word about highway safety.

From Colorado Department of Transportation. . ."Chains help commercial vehicles traverse the steep climbs often presented in the high country.  Without chains, vehicles often become disabled, causing traffic delays and sometimes road closures"

"From September 1st through May 31st, all commercial vehicles traveling on I-70 between the Dotsero exit (mile point 133) and the Morrison exit (MP 259) must carry sufficient chains to be in compliance with the Colorado chain law."  Colorado Department of Transportation" - Travel Center https://www.codot.gov/travel/colorado-chain-law
